The special election for the 5th District Jefferson County Commission seat is July 18th.

I am going to be out of town. How do I vote absentee?

IF YOU OR YOUR FRIENDS OR NEIGHBORS WILL BE OUT OF TOWN ON JULY 18TH, PLEASE MAKE PLANS FOR ABSENTEE VOTING! In-person absentee voting will take place at the Jefferson County Courthouse downtown beginning this Thursday, June 29th and will run weekdays through July 14th. Make sure you list that it is for a “special election” ballot.

Not only has he served as president of the Alabama Chapters of the American Heart Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, but he currently sits on the board of directors for Ascension Alabama and the Red Mountain Theater Company.

The main functions of the County Commission are related to finance and building. David Silverstein has extensive, successful and local experience in these areas.
